Driver License Issuance
West Union: M-W-T-F 8:00-3:30
Oelwein: Tuesday 9:00-3:00

Passport Applications
Monday-Friday 8:00 to 3:30

Clerk of Court
Monday through Friday 8:00-4:30

Most other Courthouse Offices
Monday through Friday 8:00-4:00

Scheduled Holiday Closings
The Courthouse is OPEN
However, each department
will have limits on the number of people
allowed into each office.

Plan on Extended Wait Times
for ALL services

Only those people critical to completing
the transaction should enter the
courthouse, all others should remain

Be mindful of Social Distancing and try
to keep at least 6 feet away from others.  
Follow the arrows when using the stairs
and keep to your right.  Elevator use
should be limited to one person
(or family unit) at a time.

The Drop Box is located by the courthouse door
(parking lot side) and is available 24 hours a day

The Planning and Zoning Commission has an unpaid seat to
fill representing the Northwest part of rural Fayette County.
